Formally known as the External Affairs Committee, EVP and its members focus on outreach events. This includes planning events with Berkeley faculty and alumni, companies, and other clubs on campus. In the past, the External Affairs Committee has planned events such as a Statistics and Data Science for Social Impact speaker panel and an alumni event in collaboration with the Career Center. Main member duties include maintaining close contact with our connections to work on events from the ground up. Members have the freedom to find organizations to host events with and creative control over the logistics of these events. Members also contribute to marketing initiatives, such as helping run the club Instagram, branding, and designing club flyers, merch, slide deck templates, and newsletters.
